Aleaf started with a simple annoyance: the light is never where you need it.
The hallway with no outlet. The staircase you take in the dark. The bedside with a lamp cord you keep tripping on. The closet you've been meaning to wire for years. Every fix seemed to involve an electrician, a drill, or living with an extension cord.
So we set out to find one lamp that solved all of it. It had to mount anywhere without tools, run for weeks without an outlet, give a warm glow soft enough for 2am and bright enough to read by, and come off the wall when you needed a light in your hand.
